Ever had one of those days that vanish in thin air?
Or even months?
The big reason this happens is down to you getting pulled off track, fighting fires, stuck in learning more and going down all kinds of rabbit holes.
Sometimes, there’s not a lot you can do to help it.
Something comes up and it simply has to be dealt with.
But if you’re forever getting through the day and realising you got nothing done
Chances are it’s not down to genuine emergency issues
It’s down to your use of time.
As entrepreneurs we often don’t like rigidity and restriction
But without some form of container on how you use your day – it all starts blending into one and rushing by faster and faster.
Does this mean I think you should set up a perfect schedule for your day and week?
You’d never follow it anyway and if you did it would drive you loopy.
What I’m saying is keep flexibility in your week but plan your days based on your goals to keep you on track and focused.
And before anything else
Block out time for you, your health and your loved ones.
You don’t want to find yourself weeks from now wondering the last one you had dinner with your partner, hating your reflection because you’ve not step foot in the gym and burnt out completely because you’ve not had a moment for yourself.
